Why? We don’t just charge for distance; we charge for the volume and weight of your items. Moving things you no longer want or need is literally like throwing money away. That box of old cables, the expired cans from the pantry, and the clothes your kids outgrew years ago cost you packing materials, labour, and truck space. Donate, sell, or recycle them first. Your wallet will thank you.

2. We’re Not Mind Readers – Labels are Everything!

Writing “Kitchen” on a box is a good start. But writing “KITCHEN – Coffee Mugs & Glasses, FRAGILE” on the top and sides is a game-changer.

Why? Detailed labelling tells us exactly how to handle that box and exactly where to place it in your new home. It prevents us from having to ask you a dozen questions while we’re unloading and ensures your fragile heirlooms don’t get stacked under a heavy box of books. A few extra seconds with a marker saves everyone time and stress and protects your precious items.

3. That One ‘Open Me First’ Box is a Lifesaver

You might think it’s a small suggestion, but we see the relief on clients' faces when they have it.

Why? Moving day is long and exhausting. When you arrive at your new house, the last thing you want to do is frantically slash open ten boxes looking for the toilet paper, your phone charger, or your pet's food. Packing one clearly labelled box with all your first-night essentials (including a fresh towel, snacks, and medications) transforms a chaotic evening into a manageable one.
